Engaging With Young Professionals

Global Energy Initiative understands the importance of mobilizing young people around the globe on issues of climate change and sustainable energy.  We understand that the young minds currently working their way up the industry ladders or those just newly entering their fields, will grow to be the leaders of tomorrow, and we want to give them as much support as we can.

Therefore, we are seeking to build a network of Young Professionals who are passionate in their environmental and energy endeavors, so as to provide them with a firm intellectual platform to engage in these issues and to think critically about cutting edge solutions to our global concerns.

Young Professionals For Sustainable Energy For All (YPSEA)

The YPSEA group is comprised of young professionals age 20-40, who come from a wide range of professions - academia, government, business, nonprofit and others.

Global Energy Initiative hosts lecture series, debates and discussions on recent energy security and environmental issues in collaboration with permanent missions of countries in New York.

The program gives a glimpse into establishing professional careers in the field of energy and also gives them the unique opportunity to network with government officials and energy experts.
