A Global Energy Initiative Fellow provides valuable expertise to our organization and provides the fellow with an opportunity to expand and enrich their network and professional reach.  By becoming a Fellow, you are provided with a platform to bolster your career by promoting and featuring your work and publications by having opportunities to speak at events, make presentations and participate in GEI policy-making and global leadership initiatives.

Requirements for becoming a Fellow to Global Energy Initiative:

  • Must be a professional, with at least five years of experience and good-standing in the field of energy or another closely related fields, in affiliation with the government, an international organization, academia, an NGO, and/or the private sector. This individual must have a solid understanding of and a committed support to the mission of Global Energy Initiative.  Fellows must have at least an undergraduate degree, and have a passion for sustainability and energy poverty issues. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the world.  

  • As frontline contributors to our cause, Fellows are expected to contribute to Global Energy Initiative publications and the GEI blog, to participate in our various events (including possibilities of speaking and/or acting in a moderating role), and to give strategic input on our programs and their implementation.
